STEP 1: Schedule your pet HERE. A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to book.

STEP 2: Sign the Consent Form(s)

Once a clinic staff member confirms the animal’s appointment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. A separate email will be sent for the surgical consent form(s). You will receive one form per pet. Please sign and return each form as soon as possible.

STEP 3: Get Ready for Surgery

Cats: Make sure you have a secure carrier for your cat. One cat per carrier. We recommend a light towel inside the carrier. Cardboard carriers are sold at the clinic if you need to purchase one in advance of surgery day.

Dogs: All dogs must be on a leash, including small dogs that can be held. Please do not use retractable leashes.

Rabies Vaccine Proof: If your pet is current on their rabies vaccine, please bring official documentation on the day of surgery. (Rabies tags are not accepted.)

STEP 4: Know Where to Go

We are located at 425 Covington Ave, Thomasville, Georgia - between Southern Pines Assisted Living and Thomasville Church.
Park at Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary (extra parking is across the street at the Rose Garden).

NOTE: Our clinic is down the street from a full-service veterinary hospital (Thomasville Animal Hospital). Don’t get us mixed up! We love our veterinarian neighbors and refer animals with concerns to TAH for diagnostics and treatment.

STEP 5: The Night Before Surgery

Feed your pet their usual dinner with no food available after 10:00 PM.
Water is allowed at all times.
If your pet stays outside, please bring them inside overnight.

STEP 6: Surgery Day

The Morning Of:

Give a very light snack (a few kibbles or a Milkbone).
Puppies and kittens under 4 months may have a full meal in the morning.
Water is allowed up until arrival.

Arrival Instructions:

Check-In:
Dogs: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Cats: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM

Cats must arrive in carriers (one cat per carrier).
Dogs must have a snug collar and be on a leash.
Park at Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary (extra parking is across the street at the Rose Garden).
The clinic is located behind Miss Kitty — follow the sidewalk to the right of the building.

Check-Out (Subject to Change):
Dogs: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Cats: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
